I bought this to replace a cheap folding umbrella I left in a taxi :-( Its first test was in the stiff winds and rain of Scotland that would have destroyed lesser umbrellas and it came through with flying colours! It is really sturdy. Another thing I like about it is that it extends fully and quickly with just a push of the button in the handle - a function that really saves you getting wet in heavy rains when you are getting out of a car. It takes an extra push to close it because of the strong mechanism but it is not a problem. Its shape protects you well from the rain. The colour and quality of the fabric makes it a stylish as well. It is on the heavy side compared to cheaper portable umbrellas and a bit larger but that actually works for me because it makes me more aware of it so I won't be leaving it in a taxi again.The fact that it is so windproof and protective more than makes up for the extra weight.

I've had this umbrella for quite a long time, and I can honestly say it's one of the best investments for the British weather I've made.I've used it during many blustery, rainy days, and it holds up surprisingly well, even in gusts that would have ruined most standard umbrellas. It does flip inside out during a gust, but it goes back to normal without braking or bending.The size is enough to cover both you and your bag, and it's not too bulky to carry around. It opens and closes smoothly, and the handle is comfortable to grip.Overall, I highly recommend this umbrella . It's reliable and durable.

My original umbrella has lasted 20 months and I now have 2 since someone helpfully tidied it away without telling me and I thought I had lost it. The red colour is smart and easy to distinguish. It is more sturdy than many similar I have owned. I wouldn't recommend it for very heavy winds as the span is not great and it will blow out - but it at least when it has done so it has not broken. It is compact and easy to store. Not the quickest for drying. For the price it has to be good value.

I have tried to be fair with the rating by giving it 3 stars, it seems sturdy although I haven't used it yet but I have one major issue. I purchased this umbrella over similar items due to the sizes quoted. The diagram states the measurement straight across is 42 inches. IT IS NOT! It is 40 inches (as per photo attached) and looking closer I think this is exactly the same umbrella as the "JUKSTG Umbrella, Automatic Windproof Folding Umbrellas, Compact Travel Rain Umbrellas, Waterproof Portable Umbrellas With Ergonomic Handle" which I believe shows the correct measurements. It may function well in strong winds, only time will tell but don't expect the umbrella to be as big as quoted. VERY DISAPPOINTED!Having used the umbrella over the winter I have no choice but downgrade my original review. I am now giving it 1 star (this is the only item I have ever given a rating of less than 5) as not only is it smaller than described but it is also not very good in windy weather. It is constantly turning inside out and I now wish I had ordered it later in the year so that I could have returned it in the first month. I will not be using this umbrella again. I pride myself in doing research and reading reviews but I got this one wrong.

Nice umbrella, nice colour, but way to heavy to carry for me and long does not fit in medium size bag. So had to send it back
