Q: What's the application difference between Q Bond and J B Weld Quck?

The difference is, that JB Weld Quik is 50/50 both cream, and Q bond is powder/ liquid, meaning, that once you mix it, you only have 4 minutes to apply on the affected area, and With Q bond, you have more time because you first apply the powder, then the liquid, and the strength, I would say, is almost the same, it all depends on the material.

Q: Can excess be sanded with 1000 grit paper?

Can be ground down, filed, sanded, tapped and painted. You can use 1000 grit paper it would really depend on how much excess you have. You may have to file or ground down first.Hardware Plus Tools

Q: Will it fix aluminum radiator leak?

Depending on the size of the leak, I’d say yes. However, I would consider it a band-aid and definitely not a permanent fix or a first choice for a leaking aluminum radiator. Q-bond will bond instantly to the aluminum, but is not meant to hold fluid in a pressurized system. To add, Cyanoacrylate is not ideal in applications involving sustained high temperatures. If your radiator is failing due to wear and tear, replace it. If the leak was caused by other factors consider something specifically tailored to radiator leaks.
