Definitely would recommend
Very reliable temperature control. It was easy to install, works very well, and readable. I use it for my chicken coop heater. It saves me a lot of money and it’s nice to set it to the temperature you want. Works much better than the cubes. I have a camera in my chicken coop that is connected to WiFi, I have a thermometer in there and I have checked both devices to see if it is reading correctly. Spot on each time. I do not believe this connects to WiFi.

This is the 1650w unit - Works Very Well
I bought an oil filled space heater for my bedroom, controls are mechanical, no digital precision temp keeping. As hard as I tried to dial it in the temperature swings were as much as 5*F. Unacceptable! So I bought this item to see if it were capable of holding to a 1-2 degree range. It does, and better than 1-2 degrees, it holds the temps to + or - .5*. Amazing! I may buy another one plus another heater to replace a wall heater with fan. It's noisy and irritating. I have a heat pump mini-split, but they don't work in low temp high humidity very well. I save that unit for cooling in the 90+ temps in summer.I was led to believe this unit performs without a sound. Well, the relay clicking on/off is not quiet, but I've gotten used to it. I can recommend this for heating or cooling solutions. Just make sure what you want controlled has mechanical controls, or for digital controls, comes back on after a power outage, or you'll be reprogramming your heater or AC after each interruption. Easily determined, just pull the power cord from the wall connection while the unit is running, wait a few minutes then plug it in. If it continues on like nothing happened then this unit should work fine.

Worked as advertised
I had an area in the attic where the pipes froze... Where the furnace was it stayed warm. So I installed this thermostat with a fan and duct to move the air from one area to the other and it work well. thermostat went on and off ad programed.

It works much better if you set it up correctly. I needed help to set it up correctly.
I have had this unit for over a year. It continues to work as advertised. I think it is difficult to set up because there are so many applications for this device. I bought it to run a small pump that pumps my spa water through a solar panel and then back to the spa. Once I set it up it worked fine. I keep the swim/spa at about 92 degrees F in the summer. I have a regular 110 v "outlet timer" to turn on every day between 11am and 4pm. It turns on this thermostat device and the device wakes up and turns on the water pump that feeds water from the swim/spa through the solar panel (2'x12') and heats the water in the spa if the sun is shining. It is a small pump which lives in the 2,000 gallon swim spa. RV= 91.5 degrees F SV= 93.5 degrees F.

Works great for controlling greenhouse heaters
I’ve got two of these in our greenhouse powering 1500W space heaters for the winter time. They work great

Worked once and then stopped.
It worked fine only one time and then stopped triggering the device. It would not turn on the heat or cool setting. I even put a dummy load on the outlet with a Fluke meter and it would not trigger the load. The green RUN light was on but it would not trigger.Seems like a nice device. But if it does not work it gets zero stars.

Saved me from replacing an under used fridge
I have a fridge in the basement I use as a beer fridge/ extra fridge for items that overflow from our kitchen fridge. I'm not sure what's wrong with it, but it has been coolling TOO well and everything in it was freezing. It could be malfunctioning or I read that it was too empty and didn't have enough stuff inside to soak up the cold air so it was freezing. Either way, this saved it and it now keeps everything just over freezing without actually freezing. As for usage, it is not the most intuitive controls. It is set to heating by default andbyou have to figure out how to navigate through the settings to change the temperature settings. You have to set the temperatures correctly and it will automatically swutch to "cooling". Aside from that, its "Set it and forget it!"
