Q: Can you keep it constantly plugged in on charge and still use all the functions like motion sensor, etc?

Yes, when you plugged it on charge, it still light on and still use all the functions including motion sensor. Please check the video for product demonstration. Big thanks to "Chris's and Krzysztof's video Gear" for the video.

Q: Are replacement brackets and sticky tape available?

Q: They only seem to work when it’s dark, is it not motion activated? Like every time I open my closet shouldn’t it turn on?

As to solve your problem asap, please kindly try the below suggestion: 1. Please test the motion detector function in a dim environment. Since the motion detector only can work in a dark ambient that is lower than 10 lumens. 2. Please try to swivel the motion sensor to modify its sensitivity of the motion sensor.

Q: Can this light a small toilet?

It is a fairly bright light and dependant upon wc room size, but ,if a small room say 8ft x3ft aprox then this should provide reasonable illumination. You could upgrade size/model if in doubt . Our one used on kitchen extract canopy and lights an area 10ft x3ft above counter tops and out over floor for more than several feet after canopy inbuilt light failed. We also bought a Hapfish brand unit with good adjustable light providing 3 variable intensities from bright to less harsh/blinding.
