I'll start this off by saying: yes, I have tried a bunch of different dermaplaning tools. I've tried the extremely cheap ones with the plastic handles, I've tried the brand Jill, I've tried several other tools on Amazon with diff functions like LED light for better view, etc. NONE of those worked out, they sucked actually. they were not sharp, not durable, the plastic ones are too much waste. this tool from Stacked is the BEST one I've ever tried. it's sharp, it's easy to use, it has a really nice feel to it, it's pretty. it is very sharp so you have to be careful, my skin is a little bit sensitive in some spots because I wasn't careful enough lol. Always make sure to wipe and clean your tool after each use. I won't be going back to any of the old brand I used. Stacked is the one. if you're looking for the perfect tool, don't hesitate and buy it!EDIT: Two years after my original purchase and review and I'm still using Stacked. I haven't looked back since. Still using the original blade it came with too because it works just fine, slightly dulled which I don't mind since the original blade was actually very sharp! Lasts a long time, quality is unmatched, worth the money.

I had a dermaplaning session professionally and due to the cost decided to continue myself. This worked better than the session I paid £45 for in a salon. Look at some YouTube videos on how to use it and you're good to go - make sure you prep your skin properly.I only have light peach fuzz on my face which I normally wax and I no longer need to wax now I have this. The hair does grow back faster at first but lasted about a week. I've used it twice now and the hair is growing back slower now. It does not make your hair grow back thicker or darker. It deeply exfoliates your skin so it's important to cleanse and wear a high spf. My skin is literally glowing for days after using this! I highly recommend this product but please do your research into how to use it as you are taking a sharp blade to your face, I have managed to cut myself a couple of times but not deeply and no scars - no fault of the product and just of me not paying attention.I have acne scars and suffer with a skin condition that causes chronic acne, hives, cysts, blackheads and I have very open pores. Using this I am getting less blackheads and spots, my pores are less visible and I can now get away with a lot less make up - and when I do wear make up it sits on the skin so much better.Dont buy cheaply - this is worth the cost and I will continue to use it and buy the replacement blades.
