I've bought 4-5 sets of these now to use on various projects in my shop. They work great on shop-built rolling cabinets for my CNC, band saw, radial saw, drum sander, etc.I think the 1500lb advertised rating is probably a bit optimistic and they are likely not the best choice for something *really* heavy, but for the relatively light applications they have been holding up well. I think the heaviest load I have used them for is probably a couple hundred pounds.They roll smoothly, the locks engage positively. The only complaint is that they do develop a flat spot when sitting in the same place for a long time. Not a huge deal, and they will eventually regain their shape once you move it around, but something to be aware of.When I need more casters, I'll probably continue to buy these same ones.

I had the castors on my heavy workbench that would allow you to release the wheels and place the legs on the floor, but when the wheels were engaged it was very difficult to move the workbench. So I replaced them with these castors and the workbench moves around the shop with ease and the wheel locks engage with no movement.

Quality is top-notch, a great investment

I made a four wheeled low dolly to mive heavy items about. Everything about this product says durability and long lasting. I have confidence my dolly will hold up against the heaviest of items. Very smooth roll of the ball bearings. All hardware is included. Great buy!
