Mine are 12 1/2" Wide x 9 3/4" Deep x 40" High ( a smidge over 42" with DVD's). Hope this helps !

Stands alone and doesn’t need to be mounted to the wall

Q: What is the height between shelves?

8 inches. Tall enough for any single DVD and most boxed sets; i.e., my Chaplin metal box resides on the top shelf because it's a too tight fit for the other shelves.
