Ordered 1/4 what I received was a labeled 1/4 but obviously larger than 1/4 so I measured and what I recieved was 5/16...obviously want fit on a 1/4 vacuum fitting would cause a large vacuum leak..

I used this on my brake booster line and it collapsed on 28 pounds of vacuum while the line was still cold, it would do worse if it heated up from the engine bay. Don't use it if you life depends on it.

Used this as part of a DIY external breather for my Harley. This tubing has held up to the heat and oily vapors associated with an external breather next to the engine. There has been no breakdown or wear observed and the tubing is working as intended.

Collapses under vacuum of -15 psi

The tubing was the correct size and correct temperature rating. A short length connects the pressure switch in my central heater with the burner area to detect that the draft inducer blower is working. The tubing is near the wall of the burner area and tubing of other materials deteriorated from the heat making my heater inoperative. This tubing works for automotive applications.
