VSM Singer Heavy Duty 6605C Sewing Machine, Grey, Metal & Alloy Steel

I am excited to say I received my Singer machine yesterday. Firstly the ease of threading the needle and setting up the bobbin once you follow the instructions was super easy for me, who used to struggle with the threading alone. I am also impressed with the stitching variety. My old Toyota sewing machine had gone past the point of no return and I needed a quality upgrade. And this is it. I can look forward to my sewing journey and plan to make curtains, quilts, cushions, and all the household items I can make. My old Toyota machine was a bit noisy as it lost life but the noise level on this is very reasonable. The light is also quite bright. This is value for money. Versatile in all the components in my opinion.Yes, I would give more stars if it were possible.Smiling!

Came faulty. Not so heavy duty as it states. Return was hassle free.

Got this in Jan 23 .... It ran like a trooper until Nov 23 when the jack socket that connects the foot pedal to the machine failed internally ,I can't say if it was bent or what happened but the socket was definitely broken inside causing the machine to not respond to the foot controller , the manual version of this machine has the much sturdier foot pedal / power combination plug/ socket .... Not sure why singer choose to go down the jack socket route as this machine doesn't have a manual start stop switch .....
