Q: is this like the old davines volume mousse defining

Except the scent is VERY different. This mousse smells cloyingly sweet. I used it before smelling it and had to rewash my hair. I wish they didn’t discontinue the old mousse. I had to buy a bottle on eBay.

Q: The last can of Davines volume boost mousse I purchased is half full because the dispensing cap broke and does not work. Too expensive to waste.

Same thing happened to me. The dispenser cap quit working less than half way through. It just comes out a liquid

Q: How do I get it to spray. Do u have to open some way??

I love this stuff - my hair is fine, thin blond. This helps give it body and hold a shape, especially in humidity. Mine doesn't spray, it's foam. Hold the can upside down, point the nozzle into your other palm, and push the button with your index finger. Foam should come out in your palm. Hope that helps.
