Q: I'm wanting to make a netting bed for my friends pet racoon, would this be easily chewed through?

It is wound tight and a hard cord but it can be undone. I would say it should last a while but will eventually unravel.

Q: Can I use this to hang a porch swing?

You know you probably could, but for stability, and a long-term solution, I would choose marine-type rope or chain.

Q: What country is this made in?

I thought it was made in Ukraine (as per the page here on Amazon), but the spool I received is marked "made in China".

Q: are the center cords white or are they dyed to match outside color?

The center cords are white. I too was looking for matching center cords but no luck so far.
