No, I didn't. You still get all the information but then if you want to dig deeper that's when you'll need to subscribe.

Q: Does the test examine both maternal and paternal lineages?

Yes. the test very accurately identified where each of my parents are from. It doesn’t specify which parent is from where but you should be able to work that out.

Q: Is there an additional cost to post the dna sample to the ancestory dna lab?

No i dont think therr was. It was pre paid.
