Great headset for the sale price
Upgraded to these from the steelseries 7X+. The weight is so much lighter and feel good to wear for prolonged gaming sessions. The ear cushions are so soft and put no pressure on the ears. They are designed very well to be so light weight.Easy to set up and connect to the Xbox. I use Dolby atmos as well and the sound quality is brilliant. Even on warzone you can hear clearly and find those footsteps from all the ambient noise.Overall great quality in all aspects from build to sound. I would just recommend Dolby atmos with them as this is a great customisation tool for the EQ settings.

The perfect headset if you wear glasses
I have tried probably about 10 wireless gaming headsets during the years including:Turtle Beach Stealth 600Turtle Beach Sealth 700HyperX CloudCorsair VirtuosoXBOX Official HeadsetAstro A50All of these I have had to sell or have returned to Amazon for various reasons:1. Too tight for Glasses Wearers (Hyper X).2. Poor Bass or Surround Sound (Corsair).3. Poor build quality (A50s failed to turn on twice!).4. Sweaty ears (Xbox Official Wireless with leather pads). These beat all of those hands down. Not only are they very comfortable and light which is perfect for a glasses wearer but the surround sound (footsteps) and bass (grenades) is excellent! The Xbox version is the best choice as well as it can be used with any console or PC.Some people write negative comments about these as there is no official Xbox app to tweak the settings such as EQ but I don't think that's enough to give it a bad review. What you need to do is use a Windows PC to set it up and then these settings are saved no matter what device you use. The setup process is as follows:1. Set the min dongle in USB (rather than Xbox) mode and connect this to your PC. Connect a second USB Cable to the USB C port of the headset. Both connections need to be active to do any firmware updates.2. Install the SteelSeries GG app on your PC and Laptop. It should detect that you have the headset connected but you might need to turn it on by turning it on via the button just below the Bluetooth pairing button.3. Update the firmware on the headset (this will most likely be required on all of these) using the GG app. Unfortuntely the app is just full of advertising so it takes a little while to find the right page. It should tell you it needs a firmware updates which takes about 5 minutes to complete.4. I play COD Warzone/DMZ and so I then set the Preset EQ to that and then add a few Db of Bass Boost. Ensure that "spatial sound" is disabled because you want to use Dolby Atmos on Windows or Xbox.5. To use on PC; that's it but to connect to Xbox you then connect the dongle to the Xbox (no need for teh secondary USB C cable and ensure the switch is set to "Xbox". You then pair the headset to the Xbox in the same way you would for a Controller - by holding the pairing button on the Xbox.Just ensure that you then select Dolby Atmos for Headphones in the settings on the Xbox. you may have to buy this app from the Xbox marketplace. I already had it and so I can't confirm this. It's a great headset - highly recommended! There is a pro version but it's about £200 more and as far as I can tell it's just a little more premium and it comes with a small box which you can use to connect a professional mic (for example) but this just adds more cables. It also has leather pads which will probably just make your ears sweaty!

Fantastic headset, wish I bought sooner
This headset is super, I love the look and feel of it and the sound quality is fantastic. All of the controls that you really need are built into the headset which is awesome, no more flicking through party menus between rounds. The mute button is a proper on/off button that stays in the position you leave it in, which is great so that you never accidentally speak in game chat. There is also a red light that appears on the end of the mic to remind you it's muted. It's my first wireless headset and I honestly don't know why I didn't do it sooner, I don't see me going back to wired after this one. I've managed to walk downstairs to the kitchen with these on and they still stayed connected and I could keep talking to my friends clear as day which was neat, the range of the dongle appears to be pretty large. Not having to constantly drop my headset to let the dog out the room is life changing and probably cost effective since now I can't forget said wired headset and yanking the cable out walking away.Battery life appears to be very impressive as the day I received them I played for way too long and the headsets didn’t show any sign of needing charged, upon charging they took no time at all with the provided USB-C to A cable. The dual audio with Bluetooth connectivity is an amazing feature that I love, easy to turn on and off to save using the headsets power but no more complaints that my friends can hear me listening to videos down the mic when I enevitablely die earlier than them in the match.Price wise I can only say I got this on Black Friday sales so a bit cheaper than full price but it was the reason I bought it. I think after using it I'd say its even worth the undiscounted price - I'd been constantly going from cheap wired headsets to the next as they broke but this feels like its built to last. Fingers crossed.Note: in the box it comes with the female USB-C to male USB-A adapter - this is how you connect the dongle for the headset to the Xbox and PlayStation, I don't think this was too clear from the advertisement. For PC you can either use this adapter or plug it straight into a USB-C. I was able to seamlessly change it from Xbox to PC just by swapping the dongle (and remembering to flick the switch on the dongle). PC also has the "GG" app for further headset tweaking and settings which I've only briefly used.
