The chain is solid and the carabiners are solid. This belt looks like it could hold several hundred pounds daily for the rest of my life. The sewing on the leather is perfect. The finish is clean, with a lightly textured exterior, yet smooth interior where the belt presses against your skin/clothing.Seriously, don't waste your time with a synthetic belt. You wouldn't use one for serious strength training, so why use one for weighted dips/chins? If you're going to pay 30-50$ for a synthetic belt, spend 20-35$ more and get a belt you'll never regret buying.If you value quality and functionality - THIS IS THE BELT YOU WANT.

This belt feels light when on, but very sturdy. The chain is thick and together they provide confidence to withstand the weight. It’s very comfortable to wear and I’ve had compliments in the gym on how nice it looks. I’m very satisfied with its look, feel, and performance.

This thing is the real deal. Ive been using a synthetic belt for years and this leather belt just feels right. Itll definitely last longer than me and will pass it down to my kid or some lucky gym goer when i have to be put in a home some day. Its a must buy if you do weighted pull ups and dips.

I feel bad leaving a one star review, this might be my first, but these metal bolt bits dig right into my hip bones and are quite painful especially under load. I was really excited buying such a nice belt and didn't expect it to hurt. It would be much more comfortable if it were one continuous piece of leather.

This belt is better than the belts at the gym! My gym fee is $60.00 monthly. The belts they provide are velcro. It isn’t exactly state of the art! When I walk with this belt, the thick chains jingle providing me that “time to do business,” feeling! It’s very sturdy! So far so good! It’s very comfortable and DOESN’T FEEL CHEAP! One of the best purchases I’ve made on Amazon!
