Great and robust mat for keeping your accessories in one place. Heavy rubber design makes it very hard to move on the counter, which is a good thing.

Making espresso can be a bit messy sometimes as coffee grounds can get everywhere. Also, having a place to put / position / show off your prep tools is rather nice. So, having bought the tools, the mat was a bit of a no brainer. I have a 58mm portafilter and this has inserts in the recesses that can be added if you have a 53mm portafilter or taken out for the 58mm.The item is made of silicon rubber and is secure in the work surface and should any coffee ground get on it, and they will, it’s VERY easy to rinse and dry off.A great complement to the Normcore tools.
