The media could not be loaded. These were used outdoors so I don’t know if the sound level would be irritating in an enclosed space but we had a “blast” ;) with them. They all worked perfectly and the recorded sound was pretty spot on. Liked that they were retractable for easy backpack transport but when lengthened they all stayed put. They are plastic so over-exuberant play would likely damage them, as one would expect, but everyone who used them had duels and they are all still functional and in one piece. They were reasonably priced and fun for all. Yes they were a novelty, but I was glad I purchased them!

They were a lot of fun for a few hours, they light up, make great noises..but if there’s any real type of sword play going on, they WILL break. It would be perfect for a costume prop, if you weren’t actually going to fake fight with it. I got the three pack (one for each of the kids) and my boys absolutely like to “real life play” so they were basically broken within a few days.

My kids have a great time playing with these. The lights and sounds make it a lot of fun to play with. After several uses and light saber fights, the ends of a couple of them broke off. My kids are hard on their toys so I was not surprised by this. Other than that, they were a great purchase.

May the force be with you. My nephew is going to love these for Christmas. I just wish they were made of material he could actually hit other with. I imagine he will break them from sticking his siblings with them

One of the three was defective and wouldn't turn on, even with a battery replacement. My purchase was a gift, which is even more disappointing. Double check when they arrive and plan ahead to get replacements if necessary.

The media could not be loaded. The On-off button is sensitive to the touch. To remedy this problem take a paper towel and roll it to a ring shape to create a gap, put a tape over it This way it's not going to go On and Off when it’s not desire to be.
