Q: How many letters from the alphabet are on the back?

Not all have the same letters in order from A to Z. The letters "I" and "H" are difficult to set the pieces in a north south direction. I found the round puzzles to have greater alphabetic extension than the square ones. The letters will align perfectly.

Q: Why is this puzzle called 3D? It’s a flat puzzle. Please explain.

It's likely called 3D because of the 'optical illusion' of depth you see when looking at the puzzle or picture of the puzzle. [The puzzle, itself, is in 2D.]

Q: Does the H letter and I letter have the underline so you know if they are right-side-up?

No they are only good for separating the pieces. It took me 2 hrs of trial and error to figure out the best strategy to start...after that i worked about 2 hrs at a time and I finished in a little more than 10 hours over a couple of days. I have a bad back so benting over gets me good! Enjoy as for knowing right side up, you wont know if u dont separate by the letters and if you dont look at the finished picture that comes with.

Q: How do you seal this puzzle so it keeps the 3D effect?

I use Mod Podge, a water based glue sealer...starts out white and dries clear..i do at least 2 coats.
