Product is soft rubber. The back folds up easily to fit my sink but can lay flat if you have more room from the sink to the wall. I have an ugly sink and I like how it hides all the sins, if you know what I mean? Not much of a slant but still the water does not sit. I guess it either runs out the drains or evaporates. The gray is a good color as it does not show water residue like the smaller ones I had previous in a red color. I was constantly having to scrub those. The only thing that is a little bothersome is you need to put your soap bottles facing front so they so wobble too much.But over all not bad and I really like it. Super easy to clean too.

This sink splash guard does not fit well. The drainage design not good as compared to another splash guard I bought. Basic.

The way our faucet was installed and my exuberant dishwashing style was causing a lot of water to build up around the faucet and back lip of the granite countertop. I didn't always remember to wipe it up, and didn't want hard water buildup from the puddles. This splash guard works just as I hoped it would. The water drains back into the sink and the puddles are gone. You still have to wash the splash guard every so often, but I like that it is protecting our granite. Our granite has gray tones, and the gray silicone blends in well in our kitchen. Pleased with this product.

Works better than others tried, but still not close enough around tap.
