Amazing
One of my favorite tools. Grips super tight and loosens as soon as you go backwards. Grips pretty much anything.

Amazing
Crescent is tried-and-true. Most people use this for plumbing, but it works amazing for alignments on vehicles, or tightening pipes. Once it grabs, the bite is strong enough for me to hang from a round tube pipe without slipping. Rusted adjuster sleeves, tie rods, and turnbuckles are no longer a nuissance

grip
good grip , we use these a lot changing water meters and have noticed its a little harder to get these positioned correctly and to get them to let go in the small spaces we work in

Really easy to use. And it works!
This wrench is really easy to use, even for someone who is all thumbs like me. I have a garden hose that is stuck to my hose-bibb. I tried all the wrenches I own but couldn't get the hose to budge. I finally decided to buy this wrench to see if it would work. This is the only wrench that actually gripped the garden hose without slipping. Unfortunately, the hose is still stuck because the hose-bibb attached to the water pipe turns more easily than the garden hose. I even had my boyfriend hold the hose-bibb in place with a different wrench while I tried to turn the garden hose. It just is NOT going to come off. I'm quite sure that if the hose-bibb/water pipe connection were tighter, the wrench would have have gotten the hose off. But, at this point I'm guessing there is either mineral build up or rust inside the hose connection which is preventing the joint from turning. In any case, I don't blame this wrench, and in fact, I'm looking forward to all the other things I can do with this around my house. I would buy this again.

Wrenches righteously
I inherited an ancient one of these from someone. The spring had broken, and it was hard to use, so I threw it out and never considered getting another one. I wrestled with standard pipe wrenches instead for several decades. Pain in the rear.A review (probably paid) in Family Handyman urged me to reconsider. My son got me this for Christmas (thanks, kid!). I've used the heck out if it since. Makes a great third hand, vise, and yes, pipe wrench. Grabs stuff that doesn't have a hex head, like bird feeder poles and cap screws with stripped allen slots. The sprung jaw can be annoying (bites your finger in cold weather pretty good - GAH!), but far less annoying than trying to fool with a wiggly pipe wrench. This is a winner.
