First, I have to admit that I live in a house that is old. Dust is abundant and normal where I live especially in these older houses. I hate it. Seeing all those little tiny dust motes floating around in the rays of sunshine coming through the window early in the morning, knowing we are breathing it in constantly, having it aggravate allergies. I have tried several air cleaning machines throughout the years. Some cheap, some very expensive, high end machines. Several years ago, I had the opportunity to have trial use of a machine that makes ozone. I loved it, but sadly, could not afford the cost of that machine. I was absolutely thrilled to find similar machines on Amazon when I started searching for a new air cleaner. I checked several and almost purchased another similar air cleaner, but realized it did NOT have the additional filtration system that this model does. I decided to give this one a chance. It is a little higher cost than just the ozone producers, but it definitely has been worth it. I have had the machine for about a week, but definitely long enough to be able to say it works. The air smells so much fresher inside my house. There are almost no dust particles floating around now. I have already taken it apart once and cleaned dust out of the fan and rinsed the filters because it pulled so much dust out of the air inside my house. I expect it to take longer now that it has finished the initial filtering of the air in here. Everything works exactly as described with this little machine. It definitely is a solid wood box and you can expect it to be heavy. The filters and grills come off very easily for cleaning and maintenance. There are 4 screws holding the front grill and 3 holding the filter assembly in the rear. You do not need any tools to remove them. You can remove them by hand. The filters just sit in the box and are very easy to remove and reinstall. There are 3 ceramic plates that must be inserted into indicated slots, but that was also very easy to do. Once you have the ceramic plates installed, just put the filters and grill back in place and you are ready to use the machine. I am very pleased with the performance and results. I would definitely recommend purchasing this machine if you are looking for clean air inside your home.

It’s a great product if you’re not sensitive to high ozone. I love the product. I will warn you if you’re a candle burner. This thing dosnt discriminate good or bad smells. It just takes them away leaving a thunderstorm smell. I can also tell you that I have experience with IAQ products that produce Ozone. If you have Lyme disease . You may want to get one without ozone. I put one in a lady’s home and that had it and she was ill due to the sensitivity of the disease. This machine is awesome though

Having used several different systems, I was put on to this one by a fellow company owner who runs a gym and uses it daily.Manufacture and product design seem reasonably good.It has variable settings available with two front located control knobs and includes the option of keeping the system turn on for longer periods of time.Used it in both a retail location which had some scent and possible other issues and it remediated all of those in a few uses.Also used it to remediate some similar issues in a residence. Worked perfectly.When used on full ozonation and filtration settings you must vacate the space, and air it out thoroughly before returning, as it takes a bit for the o3 levels to drop, but that never caused any issues.It is an amazing value for the money and an excellent tool in cleaning up the air space. And yes, it can be delivered to addresses in California.

This is the third ion / ozone generator of this general type that I've purchased. The first two still work well, but one is at my mom's and the other was in our large living room near the wood stove. I purchased this one for the bedroom, as that room is effectively cut off from the rest of the house. However, I've swapped it out with the one in the living room, because even on low the fan is just bit too noisy for sleep. (Unless you're one who needs white noise to sleep - then it would be perfect.) It's got extra filtration that the other two don't have, so it will work better in the living room anyway, to clear smoke from the wood stove. The extra filtration may also be why it's noisier, as air is passing through additional filters.I also need a completely dark room for sleeping and this unit has ultra-violet sanitation, which puts out too much light for me. That may not bother other people, especially if they're used to having a night-light on or if it can be placed facing away from the head of the bed.I do have a major complaint about the packaging. It had such a strong chemical smell when I opened it, I almost instantly got a headache. I thought maybe it was from the finish on the generator, but after running it for a couple days, the smell on and around the generator was gone. However, it was still quite strong in the boxes and packaging, which I had put out in the garage and left open. So, I'm guessing the chemical smell was from the packaging. It's really bad. So, if you're chemical sensitive, have some one else open it outside or in the garage and just bring the unit in. Maybe run it in the garage for while to get rid of any residual odor on the unit. That smell is bad-nasty!Overall, I'm very pleased with this ion generator. I deducted one star for the noise and the packaging, but both can be probably be overcome for most people.

This machine was amazing. My basement flooded and within three days the entire house was stinking. Within a couple of hours with the machine on the odor was gone. The air was clean and the odor was gone from my clothes and the furniture! Amazing! Worth all the money I spent.
