SMALLRIG X-T50 Handgrip, Silicone L-Shape Handle for FUJIFILM X-T50 Camera, Built-in Quick Release Plate for Arca, with Shutter Button and Hot Shoe Cover, Black - 4783

I normally do not write any review one day after I get it. I like to use it for a while to make sure I form a solid opinion before writing any review. After using SmallRig X-T50 hardgrip for one shooting session, I love it so much that I want to write this review immediately.1) Fit and finish: Perfect. It fits X-T50 like glove. The handle is soft to touch and easy to hold. Once I install it, no gaps can be found anywhere. The color matches my Charcoal X-T50 perfectly. It feels like an OEM product sold by Fujifilm2) Performance: While I like the size of X-T50, once I mount a bigger lens, it becomes very unbalanced. My Sony A7IV is bigger and heavier, but I can easier use it for an entire shooting session. I just could not do it with my X-T50. Now with this SmallRig handgrip, I no longer have this issue. In fact, I had a shooting session last night, I used my X-T50 exclusively for a 4-hour session.3) Weight: This handgrip is super lightweight. To me, the camera actually feels lighter with this handgrip because it feels more secure in my hand.4) Bonus: I can't image many X-T50 users would carry a tripod or monopod with them. But if they do, they can mount it to their tripod or monopod easily without taking off the handgrip. If you need to take it off, the mini coin like screwdriver is right there for me to use to unmount the grip.Overall, I can't recommend this enough. It feels like my X-T50 got an major upgrade. I absolutely love this handgrip!! 6-Star!

I had a tough time deciding between the silicone version [ASIN B0D6RF6518], the wood version [ASIN B0D6RF8NNG], and the leather half case [ASIN B0D7Z8DYBX] so I bought all 3.After testing each below are my initial thoughts...Silicone version [ASIN B0D6RF6518]- More grippy than wood version as expected because of silicone vs wood- Little bit bigger than the wood version (1-2 mm maybe) which provides just enough clearance for fingers with bigger lenses- Charcoal color matches camera perfectly- Nice touch that they added a NICE hotshoe cover and soft shutterWood version [ASIN B0D6RF8NNG]- Wood grip looks nice but is a little slippery (as to be expected)- Wood part is a little smaller (1-2 mm) than the silicone version so provides a little bit more clearance for fingers- Charcoal color matches camera perfectly- Nice touch that they added a NICE hotshoe cover and soft shutterLeather half case [ASIN B0D7Z8DYBX]- Leather feels ok but a bit cheap feeling- Leather not glued down properly around the finger grip part in front making the leather feel a bit spongy- No arca swiss plate built inI'm still undecided on the wood vs silicon versions but hope this helps others!For reference, the lens in pictures where I'm holding the camera is 35mm 1.4 and the lens in picture with tape measurer is 27mm 2.8 WR.

This has made carrying my X T50 around much easier. When I got the camera, I felt that there wasn’t enough grip. Now with this, it feels so much more comfortable to hold. I feel more confident when I am out shooting because it feels more secure in the hand.

Nice quality item. I bought this because I have big hands and wanted a little more grip on my X-T50. Unfortunately it causes my fingers to bump against the 16-50 kit lens aperture ring. So I bought another brand grip here on Amazon, and that one is way better designed to give some extra grip - but it doesn’t cause my fingers to push against the lens. So I can’t recommend this grip if you have big hands.Update: SmallRig is a great company. This was the first product of theirs that did not work well for me. They reached out to me after writing this review and offered a refund. That was much appreciated!

Nice grip, but no shutter release button or hotshoe cover were in the package. Either a quality control issue or a change in the product without a change in description. Either way cost them a star.

I was worried this would increase the size of my XT-50 too much. I am happy to report it doesn’t and in terms of overall comfort to hold makes a big impact. I ended up buying some of the larger 1.4 lenses and the sigma 18-50. Anything smaller than those I don’t think it would be needed

Grip is much needed for the Fujfilm X-t50 and this one works seamlessly. I recommend it without reservation.

Grip protrudes too much where in pinches my fingers between the grip and the lens. OK with smaller lenses, but anything "normal" (ex.23mm LM, 33mm LM) size is tight.

Obté por esta empuñadura debido a que tengo las manos grandes y la Fuji X-T50 es pequeña. Aunque la cámara en condiciones normales se agarra bien, me sobraba mano para agarrar tranquilamente. Una vez instalada la empuñadura tengo que decir que mejora notablemente la seguridad del agarre. Quizás la punta de los dedos quedan muy justos en el hueco que hay con el objetivo y a veces mueves las ruedas del mismo sin querer, pero entiendo que es algo mas aplicable a mis dedos que a la empuñadura.El material es de goma, parecido a la de la cámara pero no es de la misma calidad. Habrá que esperar con el tiempo si aguanta bien el material o no.Por otro lado es facilísimo de instalar y desinstalar. Me ha sorprendido gratamente el pequeño destornillador imantado que lleva acoplado debajo en forma de púa de guitarra. El tenerlo ahí facilita el quitarla rápidamente si lo necesitas por algún motivo. Una vez instalado no afecta para nada la apertura de la pestaña que oculta la batería y la tarjeta de memoriaEl color del metal es idéntico al de la cámara (silver).En resumen decir que es muy recomendable si necesitas un mejor agarre para esta cámara.
