Ideal for newborns and smaller babies
This nasal aspirator works best for newborn and smaller babies since it's small and doesn't have a strong suction. It can help remove superficial boogies, but it wont be enough for older babies who have copious thick nasal secretions. I like that these have pointed tips for easier insertion into the nostrils and the fact that the parts can be disconnected to be cleaned thoroughly (the free ones from the hospital have to be thrown eventually because you can't clean or see what has built up inside.)

Cold/flu season essential
I was so relieved to have this already at the house when my daughter got sick with RSV. I recommend buying BEFORE you need it. The instructions are clear and I love that it can be disassembled and cleaned so that it can be used for multiple illnesses and with multiple children. It was easy to disassemble, clean and re-assemble.The one from the hospital can not be disassembled to clean the inside and should only be used for one child/illness.

Really only for infants
This aspirator really only works for infants - the suction is very low and doesn't do anything for a toddler or older. It's small and easy to use and clean which is nice, but really not any better than the hospital bulbs they give you.

Great Product
This works really well to extract the congestion from the nose without causing additional irritation in and around the nose. It has an adequate amount of pressure and is easy to clean after and between uses.

Works well and easy to clean
This works well and is easy to clean. I like it because I couldn't understand how to clean the one from the hospital and it seemed gross and like bacteria would build up if it's not cleaned. This is a little bit hard to put back together after you take it apart, but it's doable. You just have to kind of pinch the silicone and shove it back in.I definitely recommend this.
