For anyone wondering it takes 40 hours or more of cranking it to fully charge it, I guess . The math test behind the conclusion: the method = let battery indicator drain by 1 and hand crank it until the indicator goes up by 1 also did the same with charging it through usb type c cable. Conclusion = cranking 5 minute + usb charging 55 sec = usb charging 5x faster than cranking. Battery charge time is apparently about just shy of 8 hour's.

Returned the item due to a flimsy build of the lever. It won't last that long and it requires a lot of effort to charge the battery.
