NOT FOR BEGINNERS I am disappointed in this product. This is difficult technology that needs tech support, and it was not there. I received zero support from the foreign producer—the support consists of a phone number with an answering machine that never returns calls, and an email that never responds. Zero response in so long a time that Amazon initially refused to refund. Amazon made an exception, but I see it will not be a 100% return, due to preset fees. I went with an xTool product instead, and it is well supported by the company and the online community. I am an engineer and could not make this tool work at all. Many YouTubers say this is a great product for the price, but that may assume you have a working knowledge of the code involved for settings in GRBL or Lightburn software, but be advised: this is a complex mix of machine, software and firmware that is not easy to manage without a solid support line. Honestly, this is a cheap laser engraver, and you get what you pay for I guess.

says 6 watt laser, burns same as my 3 watt. software costs $200

This unit seems pretty straightforward. Features and app accessibility seem good. Nice size and capabilities for the price.
