Scotch Glue Stick, 1.41 oz, 1/Pack, Acid Free and Photo Safe (003-CFT)

I really like this glue for craft projects and Journaling. I have used this brand in the past. Just as it says it does not wrinkles the paper. I recommend to anyone interested.

This is my favorite brand, and I'm a repeat customer. So glad it's available again. If you use glue sticks, your needs may vary wildly from mine. I am doing junk/art journals and use this alternately with silicone based glue based on the application and when you need a stick type you want it to be superior, especially if it is a gift. And this just happens to be my favorite.

I've been using Create for several years in my junk journals. Ordered these twice before (still got several left) but decided to order more to stock up. I knew based on review and the description that the packaging was different. I was hoping to get Create but got the generic looking sticks. Was going to send back but decided to test it out. Well, it works just as well. I glued down a piece of fabric to paper and the bond is holding up nicely. I will keep both of my orders. I was on the 3m website where crafters were asking 3M if the packaging changed, formulation changed but 3m didn't answer, stated to call in. I would test this out before sending it back. But I do like the design of Create better. I'm partial to items that cater specifically to the crafter....

I love these Glue sticks. They are very smooth and permanent glue.These work very well on all paper and use them for mixed media projects.I would highly recommend these.

Works well with paper - low warping and glue stick makes it easy to use for junk journaling. Strong hold too.

I'm kind of new to junk journaling so after researching glue options to death I landed here. I like this because it doesn't warp the page and it's definitely permanent. My journal incorporates a lot of fabric too, so this works great there as well. You do have to work kind of quickly though and run over the area a couple of times to really get it nice and saturated, is what works best for me. I have found that when collaging a whole page, if I miss a little spot it will definitely be obvious when the page is being used (like when you turn it or flex it at all,) because that one missed spot will crinkle since this glue isn't so flexible when dry.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The create stick was recommended to me. This does not appear to be that product. Product received says permanent white. I will keep and see if it works for my scrapbooking projects.

I had pretty much given up on glue sticks. They were substandard at best. Then a friend recommended the Scotch sticks and I reluctantly tried them. What a game changer! I'm absolutely in love with these sticks! They are really sticky and "juicy" and they have a superior hold. I love that they hold so well and have not had any failures yet. One problem I had with other sticks was after the item was stuck on a page, days later I would be looking through my journal and some of the items would pop partially or fully off because of the page bending. I have not had this happen with the Scotch sticks. Excellent product that found a home in my crafting studio!
