No caffiene in ingredients that I could tell but here are all the ingredients listed so you can be sure for yourself. "sugar, fat reduced cocoa 19% (with emulsifier soy lecithine), glucose, chocolate 7% |(sugar, Cocoa mass, fat reduced cocoa, flavouring vanillin, salt, vitamins (b1, b2, niacin, b6, folic acid, b12, pantothenic acid). May contain hazelnut and milk.

Q: Can you mix it with cold milk, or does it only dissolve in hot liquids?

The instructions on the container actually say to add it to either hot or cold milk. It's the same as any other powdered cocoa in this aspect. I've never used it that way and would probably go with the usual cold solution of adding just a little milk to make a paste before adding all the milk (to avoid dry clumps). Hope this helps!
