I use this for sharpening my Great States 16-inch reel lawnmower and it works well for this purpose. One tube will last several years.

Works very well and had my reel mower working better than new.The blades had a less than smooth grind but after a couple of applications with the grinding paste it smoothed it out considerably.Remember to reverse the rotation by placing the right gear on the left or visa versa.Make sure there is just enough friction on the plate and the blade so it rubs evenly from edge to edge.As you hone keep and eye on where it touching and where its not so you can adjust the blade for maximum contact.Good luck!
